About The Musical

Dennis Williams' I’ve Cried the Blues is a raw, emotional musical journey into the heart of Mattie, a fierce African-American woman determined to break free from the suffocating grip of the segregated South in 1940s Little Rock during World War II. The production captures the essence of blues music and the struggles faced by a family's quest for equity during a pivotal time in American history.
